These days are Chinese Spring Festival or Chinese New Year. On the first day of Chinese New Year, my baby daughter wears new year cloth and looking at the goody bag given to her. It contains oranges, hong bao and some sweets. It is fun time for Children because they collect hong baos and mix with some children that they seldom see before.

Singapore is in the festival mood. There are many places filled with new year activities such as flower exhibition and new year specail show. We wen to the River Hong Bao that is near the Singapore opera house Esplanade. The place is decorated with traditional Chinese figures and other decorations. My baby explored here and there and had lots of fun.

Lily Pond Original Acrylic Painting

I am in the mood of using brush and in love with lotus flowers these days. Somehow I have this color combination green and brown in my mind for a very long time. I just want to paint something with it. This is a first painting that I created totally from my mind without any references. Chinese New Year and Peony Laptop Skin

I didn't realize that Chinese New Year is at the corner now. There are so many things I haven't done.

I went out yesterday to get some new year goodies. See what I've got. The Chinese mandarins in boxes, some cookies and the door decorations.
The door decoration reads "Having lots of treasure" in the right and "prosperous in business" in the left. I usually buy some "Happiness" designs before. But I couldn't find a nice one this time and bought this instead. But anyway, I thought I should buy this because I am doing some small business now and I do want to have prosperous new year.

I made a red peony and butterfly version to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Peony in Chinese symbolizes noble and rich. People usually associate the beautiful noble ladies in ancient China with peonies. When you give a gift to a girl decorated with peony, you wish her to be rich and have no worry in her whole life. This is also my new year wish to every one to have no worry, be happy.

Lotus Pond and Laptop Skins

Some days I found that I have streams of ideas that I create few designs within a day. This makes me worry sometime that the paintings may not have good quality as they came too easily. You know, if you look at your own work for too long, it is very hard to judge whether it is good or bad.

But some days, I feel my head is very empty and am wondering how come I could come up with so many things before.

So, I think you should not worry if you have lots of idea and create many things at one go. Ideas don't come easily.

I am in such state that my head is empty recently. The only thing I can come up is to create these two illustrations based on the idea of the Lotus before.

These are for lotus and bird lovers. BTW, Lotus is my favorite flower.

The Sizes of Laptop Skin

To perfectly fit your laptop, you should send me the exact size of your laptop skin. Every skin in our store is made for the order. It is not Pre-made and Mass-made. I'll move around the design to perfectly fit the skin size. It is very different from cropping the skin.
But, what if you don't have the sizes with you because it is a gift or a new laptop hasn't arrived yet. In this case, you can also send me the model of the laptop. I have sizes for many models avaiable.

How to Order the Wrist Area Skin

The wrist area skin not only protects your laptop wrist area against wear and tear from watch, bracelet, dirt or water drops, it is also beautiful to look at it as well.

To order wrist area skin, you need to give the following information so that I can cut the middle hole of the touch pad from the wrist area skin.

1]. The touch pad size

[2]. The wrist area size

[3]. If the touch pad is not in the middle of the wrist area, you need to give me the four distances of the touch pad to the sides as d1, d2, d3, d4. (see the following image)

[4]. If you have an irregular wrist area skin, if you know how to draw a diagram, you can send me a diagram as the follows:

The Prices and Shipping Charge

The shipping cost varies according to your order. The more you order, the less percentage of shipping cost will be. For one laptop skin, the shipping cost is about 25% of the total cost of your order.
