Hope and Gong Xi New Year

To celebrate Chinese New Year at the end of the week, I created this flower and bird new year painting with the bird and it's nest. I named it Hope for the hopes we have for the new year.

I will take a break till 19th of February. Gong xi all the people who celebrate Chinese New Year happy snake year and 万事如意！

A very relaxing and peaceful painting that adds much serenity in a modern home.

I am planning to work on new pieces of paintings that will fit nicely to modern homes with gray, white, black, purple and blue colors.

The prints are also flexible that can be made to different shapes such as very wide or long pieces.

The size can be printed in various sizes up to 71 x 110cm/28 x 43". You can choose different types of mediums such as canvas, art paper or vinyl sheet to be printed on.

I have a customer request for a big blue background Hummingbirds print. The customer has a very modern beige, gray and blue living room. They want the colors in the print to match their room.

This is how the print will look in a room with the beige, gray and blue colors. The largest canvas print we can provide is about 74 x 114 cm/29 x 45".

Just got sometime to work on this Aspen printmaking print. I like the beautiful white and black Aspen trees.

Create another peacock print with watercolor and digital art. It has very different feeling than the printmaking print.

Cotton Rose flower is one of the favorite flowers in Chinese culture. A lot of girls named "芙蓉" which is the name of cotton rose in Chinese. The flower looks very resembling peony, but it is smaller and blossoms in autumn, not spring.

This is the first time I paint this flower. It is really beautiful the more you look at it.

Windows Live Movie Maker, Bird, Nature and Love

I used to make videos of my work using some free video making site such as "One Media". I know that Microsoft has a movie maker comes with windows operating system. Finally I got some time to try the Windows Live Movie Maker.

It is a breeze to make the movie from my pictures using the software. Here is the Bird, Nature and Love paintings collection. With the Windows Live Movie Maker, my video will have no advertisement from third party now.

The only difficulty is to find a suitable nice music to go with the movie. In this case, I download Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. If  you use some modern music, it may have complications of copyright problem.

This is a set of laptop skin and wrist area skin made from the design Poppies and Birds. The touchpad of the wrist skin is cut around the white line by die-cut machine.

Spring and Magnolia Bird Large Laminated Print (LLP) and How to Mount a Print

These are two Large Laminated Prints (LLP) of size 16 x 20"/40 x 50cm. The customer requested to print them on vinyl sheet with one side is sticky so that she will mount them on a foam board to hang. Since it is quite big, I think it will be very heavy to be framed.

Some customers asked me where to buy board for mounting of the prints. You can buy them from your local advertisement material shop such as one ArtGrafix.You can buy a foam board or gator board from them with the size you like and mount it your self.

I like people using sharp strong colors in their work such as bright red, green and blue. One day I may also use these colors. I like every color and want to try to see the how they will turn out in a painting.

I would also like to try mysterious black, gray and white or silver. They are modern and attractive to me. Colors are so magical.
