These days are Chinese Spring Festival or Chinese New Year. On the first day of Chinese New Year, my baby daughter wears new year cloth and looking at the goody bag given to her. It contains oranges, hong bao and some sweets. It is fun time for Children because they collect hong baos and mix with some children that they seldom see before.
Singapore is in the festival mood. There are many places filled with new year activities such as flower exhibition and new year specail show. We wen to the River Hong Bao that is near the Singapore opera house Esplanade. 
The place is decorated with traditional Chinese figures and other decorations. My baby explored here and there and had lots of fun.

Hong baao is red packet that contains money. It is given to children during Chinese New Year from elderly or parents. It is Chinese tradition to do so every year.
