Small Village Home Sweet Home
I managed to finished the Small Village today. I took away the pond because I feel that the houses are the focal point. With the pond, the focal point is changed to the pond which is very messy.
The Laminated Print mounted on Wood Block (LPWB) is very cute, isn't it?

Among the Flowers and Laptop Skins
This is inspired by the intricate petals of the flowers. This type of plants generate tiny sesame seeds and the flowers bloom from bottom to top slowly.
In Chinese new year, we wish people's life resembling the sesame plants that are getting better and better.

Rose Field
This is an evolution from yesterdays' Simple Flower. It just evolved with a mountain first. Later I replaced flowers with trees which are inspired by a children book I bought for my baby.
I had a bit problem with what to put in the mountains. It must be as elegant as the tree. I tried with some lines and finally with this simple roses. A field of roses that is beautiful.

Flower Mountain

I finished half way on the illustration yesterday. Today I continued with the flower and the mountain.
With the same topic with painting and digital illustration, I wonder which one you like. I like both. The illustration has the modern clean feeling. It suits a modern environment while painting suits a home with traditional style.

Moonlight Sonata
I was playing with my baby on piano and demo to her the famous Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Suddenly I thought why not I paint one for the music.Painting with music is a way that many artists do. I like to do it as well. It is really nice.
Friday again and most important it is a bright sunny day. It will be a beach and park time for me and my baby. We will go out with our neighbor babies and have some great time.
Talking about my neighbors, I feel so embarrassed yesterday. One of them just came back from a vocation and brought some new clothes for my baby as gifts. I want to take only one because I don't feel good to take all of them. But I don't know how to reject just said that the others are not suitable. Sigh, I hope she won't get hurt. I always find difficult to reject other people's hospitality.

In the Flower Mountain

First I am very happy today that one of the great blogs in Singapore "Singapore Kids Places" wrote an article about my work. Thank you very much Milly.
If you want to have some fun places to go, especially if you have kids, I think it is a very good site to give you a good idea. If you plan to visit Singapore, read this site which gives much intimate details from a resident here.
About this painting, this is inspired from the lines that I draw from the previous paintings. I found that lines and circles always give beautiful effect.
I also found one artist who likes to use circles as well. His name is LukeTaaffe. You can visit his paintings from the RedBubble. I just include one for your references:
I love his work.
I am thinking of to paint the paintings in Acrylic to see how different it will be.
