This month topic is: Favorite color and how it comes into your work .
I have no single favorite color. My favorite colors are in delicate, gentle and dreamy tones such as beige, pink, light green or blue. See the examples below:
I like people using sharp strong colors in their work such as bright red, green and blue. One day I may also use these colors. I like every color and want to try to see the how they will turn out in a painting.
I would also like to try mysterious black, gray and white or silver. They are modern and attractive to me. Colors are so magical.

It's amazing that the
Spring glass pendant was sold almost about 300 items. It is the most popular glass pendant so far.
Most of my friends also chose this glass pendant when I offered them as gifts.
I have some request from customers to make the
Peony and Butterfly into darker color such as black and white. I like the mysterious effect of the color. It would be very fit for those modern ladies.
The rectangle ones are also in very pretty.
We had a wonderful time in China last week to attend my niece's wedding . My baby was the flower girl. She took the job so serious and did it really well.
I need to take some time to settled down and hopefully can work on some new pieces as soon as possible.
The
Magnolia Bird is the most popular
Large Laminated (LLP) Print so far. Due to lamination, the surface is a bit glare that the details are not shown very well in this photo. I like the red with a bit of blue and green colors among it.
The second most popular is the Gardner print. The girl is lovely.
All the prints are printed on vinyl sheet that the customers will mount them on a form-board. I think the vinyl sheet is a good choice. They create very modern look.
I will take a small break next week to visit my friends and relatives. The summer is over and my home is quiet down after visitors left. But we miss them and it is our turn to visit them now. I am so excited to have the break.
All the new orders will be processed after 15/09/2010.
The square magnets are used to sell in pairs. But I always get some customer requests to swap one magnet from this pair with one from the other pair. I feel that it is much easier to sell one at a time.

I was trying to create a girl in this reductive printmaking print. It was not easy to cut the eyes nicely. The flowers are also not printed well on the skirt and hair part.
I was planning to have green and black on the hair, but after printed the green color, I realize that the green is very dark on top of the red and almost is black.
But it is fun to do reductive printmaking. The colors are so magical. I love this method.

I discovered a pretty bird cage recently near a church. It is really very charming. This is how the "A Good Day" is developed.
I added some music notes to symbolize the lovely day.
This is the rectangle version of the
Berry Bird. I like the white bird, it is very dainty.
