This print is inspired by lotus flower that is a symbol of Buddhism religion. I added a page from an ancient Chinese Buddhism book as collage. The gray color and simple pink represent purity and nothingness which the print tries to depict.
It adds a serene feeling of a living room with the large print.
I like the effect of dreamy background with sharp and high saturated colors. This is a print that I implemented using the idea. It has lots of possibilities and I am so excited to explore more new paintings.
The print can be printed in a very large format such as 28 x 36"/70 x 90cm .
I have made a batch of the earrings these days. These are round brass earrings and covered with a thick layer of resin.
It is fun to make these earrings. But I have to very careful when dealing with resin. I make them in a big box in my balcony so that I avoid inhaling the toxic smell.
I have small break on a beach house last weekend. These are the paintings that I just put up for my house.

Working on this Welcome, New Moon painting these days. It was inspired by a scene from movie
iprian Porumbescu - Balada. I like the music and try to watch the movie, although I don't understand anything apart from what the lovers are greeting the new moon: "Welcome new moon".
I really like the movie.
I just sold this canvas print of size 12 x 16"/30 x 40cm. It is lovely. It would be a nice item as a gift.

Yesterday was traditional Chinese Duanwu festival. Chinese will make sticky rice dumpling for the festival. This is my first time to make sticky rice dumplings with bamboo leaves. I always thought that it is very difficult to make them. But after seeing a
receipt in the Internet and found that the ingredients are simple, just that the wrapping maybe difficult, I dare to try this time.
You can see that the threads are not very well wrapped. It is so difficult to wrap nicely. But the dumplings taste very well despite the shape with a little bit of sugar. It is a very good desert that is ready to server for my baby and many of her friends dropping by during the school holidays.
Sunday is not a usual working day for me. But my house is so quiet and cool. My husband is going away for business for a few days and my baby is playing at my neighbor's house with my maid. It is such a good time for me to do some work.

In the mood for flower painting now. Roses are so beautiful that make you full of passion when painting them.
Baby likes to pose now. She discovered her new dress this morning and wants to try it out and pretends to be a princess.
I was planning to go out with friends to have an out door water play for my daughter. Then came the heavy rain that destroyed the plan. I suddenly have the whole afternoon free and it is just nice for the watercolor painting that I want to paint for a while.
It is a small sized painting for 6.5 x 9.5"/17 x 24.5cm with 130lb watercolor paper.
