I managed to finished the Small Village today. I took away the pond because I feel that the houses are the focal point. With the pond, the focal point is changed to the pond which is very messy.

 The Laminated Print mounted on Wood Block (LPWB) is very cute, isn't it?

A Good Day Laptop Skin and Small Village - Work in Progress II

This is the A Good Day laptop skin. I changed a bit to fit to the size of 10" x 15"/26 x 38cm format.

I managed to do some work on the small village. I still need to work on the pond and the sky. It is much prettier than the houses that my grandmother had lived.

Small Village - Work in Progress

This is a sketch I did a while ago for a small village. I always wanted to paint the small mountain area village where my late grandmother has lived. I spent my childhood running around the field, mountain and small rivers, playing in the pond in front of the houses.

After the sketch, I haven't put it in a painting yet. I cannot find a good way to or nice painting "language" to depict the scenery.

Recently I get some inspiration from some doodle work. See the example below.

I visualize that I can put the Small Village in this type of painting language nicely. Let's see if I can make it work. I'll work on this piece these days.
